    About two times a month a mystery person visits our classroom and reads to us!  Below are the Mystery Readers that have visited us so far.  Contact Ms. Rooney if you would like to visit and share your love for reading with our class!



    Mr. and Mrs. Cocuzzo

    Mr. and Mrs. Cocuzzo read When Washington Crossed the Delaware by our Vice President's wife, Lynne Cheney.



    mrs. kapadia

    Mrs. Kapadia read two books to us!  The first book was Happy Birthday to You, You Belong in a Zoo by Diane de Grout and the second was Mrs. Tittle's Turkey Farm by Lois G. Grambling.




    Thank you Mrs. Kovacevich for reading Snail and Buffalo by Tim Latimer to us!  We had a blast!






    Ms. Rooney’s brother, Mr. Rooney, came in and read Vote! by Eileen Christelow.  This was a great way for us to learn all about our local and state election that just took place!



    Officer Greg

    Officer Greg Harkins from the Montgomery Township Police Department joined our class!  We enjoyed his reading of the book, Officer Buckle and Gloria written by Peggy Rathmann!






    We enjoyed listening to Mr. Heubach's reading of The Little Penguin by A.J. Wood!  Thank you for sharing your love of reading with us!



    Ms. Sutterlin

    What a surprise!  Our very own Assistant Principal came in to our room and  read Eve Bunting's, Night Tree.  Thank you Ms. Sutterlin!




    Mrs. Sartorio

    Mrs. Sartorio joined room 145 and read a great baseball story, The Babe & I, by David A. Adler!  Thank you for being part of our day!



    Mrs. Haszu

    Mrs. Haszu gave us a great rendition of Miss Daisy is Crazy by Dan Gutman!  Hopefully Ms. Rooney isn't as crazy as Miss Daisy!!!





    B HALL

    Professional baseball player, Mr. Billy Hall, visited us earlier this month.  We enjoyed his reading of Winners Never Quit, by Mia Hamm.  Good luck with your season Mr. Hall!




    One of our very own, Mrs. Walsh, surprised us this month!  She helped us get ready for Read Across America by reading Oh, the Places You'll Go! by Dr. Seuss.  Thanks Mrs. Walsh and Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

    Mrs. Otterbein
    POETRY, POETRY and more POETRY!  We love every kind!  Mrs. Otterbien visited us and read several poems from It's Raining Pigs and Noodles by Jack Prelutsky.  Thanks for sharing your passion for literacy- we loved it!
    Mr. Grundy
    Montgomery High School Teacher and Head Boys' Basketball Coach, Mr. Grundy, surprised us with a fantastic reading of The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.  (This is one of Ms. Rooney's ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOKS!)  Thanks Mr. Grundy.  We will be sure to come watch your games next season!!!
     Mr. Dedrick came in and read THREE books to us.  We are so lucky!  He read: More Parts, by Tedd Arnold, The Hello, Goodbye Window, by Norton Juster and Chris Raschka and lastly, John, Paul, George & Ben by Lane Smith.  Thanks for visiting us Mr. Dedrick!
