Community Letter from Acting Superintendent and Board President, 5/15/2020
Happy Friday! We hope you all are enjoying the beautiful weather.
This week we would like to acknowledge and give a special thanks to our technology department for their tremendous work from the beginning of distance learning through today. The department led by Mr. Jeff Brooks, Supervisor of Technology, continues to ensure that all of our students and staff are outfitted with what they need to be successful during distance learning.
As posted on the website Montgomery Together (under the Staying Together tab / Community Initiatives link), the Montgomery Future Business Leaders of America club is looking for submissions for a “virtual quilt” of artwork – a drawing, poem, music, dance – created by Montgomery students, businesses, and residents. Submissions are due by May 19 and should highlight what it means to live in Montgomery. We can’t wait to see your creativity shine!
Please look for emails from your building principals regarding procedures for the pick up of student belongings. There will also be information from Mr. Popadiuk regarding plans for high school graduation.
As a reminder, our Kindergarten registration is open. Please see our district website for information on how to complete registration. Kid Connection information is also available.
Enjoy your weekend.
