    Required:

    - Instrument and bow of the right size and in good condition

    - Rosin (usually included with the rental outfit)

    - Shoulder pad/rest (for violins and violas) – KUN, Everest or a special sponge are preferred

    - Rock stop (for 'cellos and basses)

    - Cleaning cloth (microfiber)

    - Music stand for home practice

    - Method Book: Essential Elements for Strings 2000 Book 1

    Recommended:

    - Extra set of strings

    - Tuner

    - Metronome
