• School Counseling Groups

School Counseling groups are offered to students who demonstrate an elevated social-emotional need. Groups are created in response to teacher and parent referrals related to student needs.

Referrals can take place at any time during the school year. Your child's participation in a group depends on the referral of other students with similar needs. If a group can not be formed based on referrals, individual counseling could be considered.

School Counseling Groups are typically 20 - 30 minutes and are scheduled to take place during the student's academic day and do not conflict with related arts or recess. Teachers work with students to support any missed work or instruction.

If you feel your child is in need of school counseling support, please contact your child's counselor.
